Prerana Clinic

Prerana Clinic is located in the Mamatha Building, which is on the Banaswadi Varthur Main Road. We are quite close to New Baldwin School, so every morning and afternoon, the whole street is filled with school buses and parents picking up their kids. It gets very noisy and crowded during those times. The building we are in is a standard concrete structure, and we are on one of the floors with a simple sign out front. Inside, we have a waiting area with some older magazines on a small table. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it swept, but with the school nearby, a lot of dust comes in from the road. We have a small consultation room and a back area where we keep some supplies. The walls are a bit bare, maybe just a simple clock and a calendar from last year that we still haven't replaced. We see a lot of local families and even some of the kids from the school if they have a scrape or a fever. The traffic on Varthur Main Road is pretty constant, so there is always a background hum of engines. We have a small kitchenette in the back where we make tea. It’s a basic setup, nothing like a big private hospital. We just do our daily rounds and help whoever walks through the door. By the time we close, the street is finally quiet again and the school lights are off.
