Prems Tours & Travels has been operating out of Vijaya Nagar for quite a while. You can find us at 2035/38, which is very close to the Shakthi Ganapathi Temple. It’s a nice area to be in, especially with the temple nearby. We get a lot of people passing by on their way to pray. Our office is small and filled with maps and old schedules. It’s not a shiny corporate office. We have a few desks and chairs for people to sit while we talk about where they want to go. Booking trips is what we do, but we handle it in a very local way. We know the routes and the right times to travel around here. Sometimes the phones ring off the hook and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the temple bells. We’ve stayed in Vijaya Nagar because we like the people here. It’s a community. We don't use big fancy words to describe what we do. We just help folks get from one place to another without a lot of trouble. If you’re near 2035/38, stop in. We’re usually around, drinking tea and looking at bus timings. It’s just a regular travel shop run by regular people. The Shakthi Ganapathi Temple has its big festivals, and during those times, the whole street is packed. We usually keep the door open to let in the breeze. We have regular customers who have been coming to us for decades. They know us at 2035/38 and we know their families. It’s a slow and steady way of doing things.
