Praveen Net Center

We have been running Praveen Net Center at 307, Avenue Road for quite some time now. The shop is tucked away among all the other buildings on this busy street. Usually, the morning starts with the sound of the metal shutter going up. It’s a bit stiff, so it makes a loud noise every day. Inside, things are simple. We have a row of computers and a couple of printers that have seen better days but still get the job done. Most people who come in are in a hurry. They need a copy made or help with an online form that isn't working right on their phone. It gets pretty loud outside with all the traffic on Avenue Road, but we’re used to it. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but there never seems to be a good time to stop and do it. We have some old chairs for people to sit on while they wait for their downloads or prints. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit there talking until it comes back on. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular spot where people come to get their digital work done. We know many of the regulars by name now. It’s just us here most days, making sure the machines keep running and the paper doesn’t jam too often. That is basically the daily routine at our little spot on the road.
