Pravasi Cabs

Pravasi Cabs is based out of the Balaji Complex on SG Palya Main Road. We’re specifically at 78/ 29 in the Taverekere Ramaiah Layout. It’s a pretty active area with a lot of students and young professionals around. Our office is simple because we spend more time worrying about what’s happening on the roads than what’s on the walls. There are a couple of desks, a few phones that ring quite a bit, and a place to sit if you’re waiting. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while. It’s a good location because it’s central to many of the routes our drivers take. We don’t have a big fancy lobby. It’s just a place to coordinate the cars and keep the schedules running. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when everyone is talking at once, but that’s just how a dispatch office works. We know the shortcuts and the traffic patterns of the neighborhood pretty well by now. The team is small and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s answering the phone or checking on a vehicle. It’s a straightforward business and we don’t try to make it seem like more than it is. We’re just here to keep things moving. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and keeping track of where the cars are. It’s a busy job, but it’s what we do every day from this small corner of the Balaji Complex.
