Pratistha

Pratistha is located over at 37/4-6C along NH 4 in the 1st Stage of Vijaya Nagar. Being near the highway means we get a lot of different people stopping in. Some are just passing through and others live right around the corner. We have set up the shop to hold as much as possible because we like having a variety on hand. It is not a fancy place with bright lights and mirrors, just a regular shop where we do our business every day. We handle everything ourselves, from unpacking the crates to talking to the people who walk in. The building is older, so it has some character, maybe a few cracks here and there, but it serves us well. We carry a range of items and we try to keep the stock fresh. It is a bit of a walk from the main bus stop, but once you get here, it is usually quiet enough to look around without being rushed. We do not use any high-pressure sales tactics. We just let people browse and if they have a question, we answer it. Some days are slow and we spend the time reorganizing the shelves or checking the ledgers. Other days, it is a bit of a squeeze when more than five people are inside at once. It is just a normal local business trying to do things right by the neighborhood. We have been here for a while and plan to stay.
