Prathibha Associates

Prathibha Associates is right by the Nayandahalli Bus Stop at Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar, number 163. Being near the bus stop means there is always noise and people moving around outside. It makes the office feel alive. We have a small space on the ground floor. It’s easy for people to find us, which is good. We’ve got a couple of desks and some chairs that don’t quite match. We handle various bits of work for the community. It’s mostly administrative stuff that needs a steady hand. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. There’s just a handful of us. We share the work and share the snacks. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the buses going past, so we have to wipe down the desks every morning. We don’t have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just have a calendar and a clock. We know the bus schedules by heart because of the sounds they make. It’s a busy spot but we like it that way. Most of our clients are people who live in the area or pass through on their way to work. We try to be useful and get things done without making a big fuss. It’s a practical way to run a business and it works for us. We usually leave the door slightly ajar for a bit of fresh air.
