We work out of 542 Vijaya Nagar on the Nagwara Main Road, right by the Arabic College Post. It is a very lively area with a lot of students and commuters passing by every day. We handle advertising stuff like making boards and printing large banners. Our shop is often cluttered with rolls of vinyl, metal frames, and pots of paint. It is definitely not a clean office environment. We spend a lot of our time measuring things and trying to get the alignment right on the signs. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work, especially when it’s windy and we are trying to put up a big banner outside. We don't have a fancy team of designers. We just sit down with people and figure out what they want their sign to look like. The Nagwara Main Road is always noisy, and we have to shout sometimes to be heard over the traffic. We’ve been here in Vijaya Nagar for a good number of years. We know the local rhythms and when the rush hour will start. We don't try to sound like a big agency. We are just a local shop doing practical work for other local businesses. Sometimes we make mistakes and have to start over, but that is just part of the process. We just keep working until the job is done and the customer is okay with it.
