I work out of the Badal Complex, which is situated on Seppings Road in Shivaji Nagar. The exact address is number 201/16 18A1, and it is a busy little corner of the city. Shivaji Nagar is always full of life, with people rushing about and the sound of the market nearby. My office is not very large, but it has everything I need to get through my daily tasks. The building is one of those older structures with a lot of character and a few creaky floorboards. I have been here for years and have seen the area change quite a bit over that time. It gets a little loud with the traffic outside, but I have gotten used to the noise by now. Most of my day is spent handling paperwork and meeting with people who need some help with their files. I keep a lot of my records in old-fashioned registers because I find it easier than always relying on a computer. The walls are a bit plain, with just a few charts and a clock that loses a few minutes every week. I usually have a few people dropping in throughout the day, so it never feels too quiet. It is a very grounded way to work, right in the middle of all the action. I enjoy the fast pace of the neighborhood and the variety of people I get to meet every single day. Things are simple here, and that is just the way I like it.
