Pradeep K set up this spot in Malleshwaram. It’s on the 11th Cross, specifically 17 (Upstairs) on 2nd Cross, S.P Extn. You have to climb some narrow stairs to find us. It’s an old Bangalore neighborhood, very quiet compared to the rest of the city. We like the trees around here. The office is small. We have some old wooden tables and some mismatched chairs. Pradeep handles most of the coordination. We’ve been here for a while, seeing the city change around us. The traffic on the main road can get bad, but once you turn into the cross, it’s better. We don’t have a big team. Just a few of us working on what needs doing. Sometimes the tap in the back leaks a bit, but we put a bucket under it. It’s a practical space. We don’t spend money on decorations. There are some old calendars on the wall from three years ago. We drink a lot of coffee, typical for Bangalore. Most of our neighbors are residents who have lived here for decades. They see us coming in every morning around nine. We leave when the work is finished. It’s not a corporate setup at all. Just a local room where we get things done. Pradeep is usually here unless he’s out running errands. It’s a simple life in Malleshwaram. We don’t need much else. The doorbell doesn't work right, so people usually just shout from the bottom of the stairs to see if we're in.
