I’m Pradeep H R and I’ve been running things here in Peenya for a good while now. My place is right behind the main bus stop in the Muniakkayamma building. If you know this area, you know how loud and busy it gets with all the buses coming in and out all day long. Getting around here is a bit of a headache once the morning traffic picks up, so I usually try to start my day quite early. The building itself is just a standard concrete structure, nothing fancy to look at, but it does the job for what I need. Most people find me by looking for the big bus stand and then walking around to the back side. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so a lot of my time is spent just keeping the space decent. I don’t have a big team or anything; it is mostly just me handling the daily tasks and making sure things move along. It is not the most glamorous spot in Bangalore, but it is where I have set up my life. People who stop by are mostly regulars who live or work nearby. We don’t really do much talking, just get to whatever needs doing and that is that. Over the years, I have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit with more buildings going up, but this little corner behind the bus stop stays pretty much the same for me. I like the predictability of it all.
