My office is at 13/A Vijaya Nagar, right on Ram Mandir Road. I’m Prabhu Devaru B, and I work as an advocate. Being near the temple means there’s always a bit of a peaceful vibe around, even with the traffic. The office is a small room where I keep all my law books and files. It’s a bit cramped because I have a lot of reference materials, but I know where every single paper is. I don't have a receptionist, so when people come to see me, they just knock on the door. We sit down and go over whatever legal issues they’re facing. I try to explain things in plain words because law talk can be very confusing for most people. I’ve been in Vijaya Nagar for years and I’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. My desk is old wood and it’s seen a lot of work over the decades. I don't use much fancy technology, just what’s necessary to get the job done. Most of my clients are people from around here who know me or were told about me by a neighbor. It’s a quiet way to practice law. I take my time with each case and don't rush through things. When the bells from the temple ring in the evening, I usually know it’s about time to pack up and head home for the day. It is just how things go here on Ram Mandir Road.
