Prabhakara

Prabhakara is located at 14 Annipura Bhajipala Lane, right on the second floor. One thing about being here is that we are very close to the S R Police Station. You can hear the sirens and the general bustle from the station all day long. Getting to the second floor is a bit of a climb because there is no elevator, but it keeps us moving. Bhajipala Lane is one of those narrow spots where you really have to watch where you are going. It’s a crowded area with a lot of shops nearby selling all sorts of things. The office itself is quite basic. We have some wooden chairs and a big table where most of the work happens. It’s not the quietest place in the world, but it has a lot of character. We’ve been at this Annipura address for a while now. The people around here are mostly regulars who know each other by name. We don’t have any big slogans or anything like that. We just focus on what needs to be done each day. Sometimes the rain makes the lane a bit messy, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. The 2nd floor gives us a bit of a view of the street below, which is always interesting to watch. It’s a honest place for honest work, nothing more and nothing less. We just keep at it and make sure the door is open for anyone who stops by.
