We are located at number 7, right on the 1st Cross of 1st Main in Rajanna Layout. It’s a quiet corner of Bangalore, specifically in the 560011 area. We deal with technology, mostly software and technical bits for other companies. It’s a small team here at Portent Technologies. Most of us have been working together for a few years now. The office is pretty basic. We have our computers set up and a small area for tea. Rajanna Layout is a decent place to work. It’s not as chaotic as the main city center, which helps when you need to focus on coding. Sometimes the internet acts up, or we have a power cut, but we just deal with it. It’s a typical local business life. We don't spend money on expensive decorations or marketing. We just do the work that comes in. You can usually find us here from early morning until the sun goes down. Most people in the neighborhood know us as the tech guys on the corner. We try to keep things straightforward and honest. If we can't do something, we say so. It’s better that way. We like the local vibe of Karnataka and being part of the Bangalore tech scene, even if we are just a small part of it. The street is narrow, so parking can be a bit of a pain sometimes.
