Our little shop, Pooja, is tucked away in the Yelahanka area. We are specifically over at Babajan Chowk, right there on Jaan Mohammad Street. It’s a pretty lively spot to be in, though I have to say the traffic at the chowk gets a bit much during the rush hours. I’ve been working out of this spot for years now and I’ve come to know most of the people in the neighborhood by name. We don't have a big corporate setup or anything fancy like that. It’s really just a counter, some storage shelves, and a lot of daily tasks that keep us busy from morning till night. Every morning, I sweep the front and get things ready before it gets too hot. Being on Jaan Mohammad Street means we see a lot of local life passing by. You see people going to their jobs, kids coming back from school, and the usual hustle of the market. The building is on the older side, so it has its quirks, like that one door that always sticks whenever it rains. We don’t really worry about decorations or making things look perfect. It’s just Pooja, serving the people who live around Babajan Chowk. Sometimes people stop by just to ask for directions since the chowk is such a big landmark. I don’t mind helping out. It feels good to be a part of the daily rhythm here. We just do our thing without any big fuss.
