Our office is at 38/10 Richmond Road, which is directly opposite Cathedral School. If you know this part of the city, you know how busy it gets when the school starts or ends for the day. We can hear the kids playing and the bells ringing from our windows. The building itself has been around for a long time, and our space has high ceilings and old-fashioned windows. We work on software services, so our desks are mostly covered in monitors, tangled cables, and old hard drives. It’s not a high-tech looking lab; it’s more of a messy workshop where we solve problems on computers. Sometimes clients drop off their devices and we have to label them with sticky notes so we don't get them mixed up. The traffic on Richmond Road is constant, but inside it stays relatively quiet once you close the heavy doors. We have a small kettle for making tea, and that’s about the extent of our breakroom. We aren't trying to be the next big tech giant. We just provide a service that people in the area need. Most of our days are spent typing away or talking through technical issues on the phone. It’s a steady kind of work, and being in such a central location makes it easy for people to find us, even if the parking is nearly impossible most of the time.
