Pizza Hut

This shop is over in HBR Layout, right at 320 on 39th Cross. It's a busy corner near Hennur Cross in Bangalore. We spend most of our time in the kitchen near the ovens. It gets really hot back there, especially during the dinner rush when everyone wants their food at once. We've got a small crew of people from the neighborhood working here. Some of them are students earning extra money. We try to keep the tables wiped down and the floor swept, but on rainy days it’s hard to keep the mud out of the seating area. We aren't a big corporate office, just a local spot where people come to eat. Sometimes the delivery bikes are parked all over the front, making it hard to get in, but we try to move them. We know a lot of the regulars who come in every Friday night. It’s a lot of work making everything from scratch every day. The 5th Block is a good place to be for a business like this. You can hear the traffic from the main road all day long. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure nobody leaves hungry. It’s a simple business. We don't have any fancy decorations, just some chairs and the smell of dough in the air.
