Pioneer Solar Systems

You can find Pioneer Solar Systems at 238 Jayanagar. It is a decent-sized place, but we have managed to fill every square inch with solar gear, batteries, and different types of wiring. We did not pick the name because we thought we were pioneers of anything special; it just sounded okay when we started the business. The shop is mostly a workshop. We do not have air conditioning, so we keep the big ceiling fans running all day long to stay cool. It gets quite dusty because of the constant movement of equipment, but we are used to it. We have seen Jayanagar change quite a bit over the years, with new buildings going up everywhere, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. We focus on fixing things rather than just selling new products. If a solar controller has a blown fuse, we will try to repair it first. We are more like mechanics than salesmen. Often, we are out at customers' homes until late in the evening. There is no big corporate structure here. We just do the work as it comes in and try to be fair with everyone. Sometimes we even help out the neighbors with small electrical issues if they ask. It is just a simple, local business where we show up every morning and do our best to get the jobs done right.
