Phoenix Group Global operates out of a flat in Rajarajeshwari Nagar, specifically Flat No. 005 in the Gm Terrace building. It’s located in the Beml Layout, 5th Stage. Vikram Khettry is usually the one you’ll find here. It’s not your typical high-rise office building. It’s more of a residential setup that we’ve converted for our needs. This means it’s a bit more relaxed than a standard corporate environment. We don’t wear suits and we don’t have a receptionist out front. If you come by, you’re basically just walking into our work area. Bangalore is a big city, but this corner of it feels a bit more like a neighborhood. We deal with various things, but we don’t like to make a big fuss about it. We just sit at our desks and get through the emails and calls. Sometimes the power goes out, which is pretty common here, so we just take a break until it comes back on. It’s a practical way to work. We don’t have fancy mission statements on the walls. We just have our computers and some files. Most of our interactions happen over the phone or online anyway. It’s a small operation that fits into this quiet part of the city. We like it this way because it keeps our overhead low and things simple for everyone involved. Sometimes we order food from the place downstairs when we’re working late. It’s a decent way to earn a living.
