Philips Green Shop

The shop is at 462 Malleshwaram, right across from Murugan Ghee Stores. If you can smell the ghee, you are in the right place. We are also quite close to the 10th BTS Depot, so there are always buses moving around and people rushing to catch their ride. Philips Green Shop isn't a very large store, but we pack a lot of stuff onto the shelves. Most days, it's just about making sure the lights work and showing people different bulbs or electrical parts they might need for their houses. Malleshwaram has changed a lot over the years, but this corner stays pretty much the same. It’s a lot of walking traffic. People come in with broken parts and ask if we have a replacement that fits. We do our best to find it in the back room, which is a bit messy if I am being honest. There are boxes piled up and wires everywhere. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright signs. It’s just a local shop where we know a lot of the faces that pass by. Sometimes we stand outside the door just to get some air when the shop gets too warm. It’s a simple life running a place like this. We open up, talk to the neighbors, and sell what people need. That’s really all there is to it. We've been here for a while and don't plan on moving.
