Phase 1 Events & Entertainment

Phase 1 Events & Entertainment is at No. 152 on 4th Main in Bangalore. We’ve been working out of this spot for quite a while now. When people think of events and entertainment, they usually think of the lights and the music, but we see the side with all the cables and the permits. It’s a lot of logistical work here at the office. We spend our mornings on the phone and our afternoons looking at venue maps. The 560079 area is where we call home, and we’ve got a good handle on how to get things done in this city. It’s not always easy with the traffic and the rules changing, but we manage. Our staff is a mix of people who have been doing this for decades and some newer faces. We don't really have a corporate culture; we just have a way of working that involves a lot of shouting across the hall and drinking too much tea. The office is often full of boxes of flyers or samples of stage equipment. We don’t try to be something we’re not. We’re just a bunch of people who like putting on a good show and making sure the audience has a good time without noticing all the work that went into it. It’s a lot of pressure sometimes, but it’s what we do. We stay until the lights go out.
