Perot Systems

Working at Perot Systems in Whitefield means dealing with the heavy Bangalore traffic every single day. Our office here is right in the middle of all that activity and noise. It is a busy part of town, always full of people moving around and new buildings going up on every corner. We have a space that fits our team well enough, even if the parking is a bit of a squeeze for our scooters sometimes. Inside, it is mostly open with rows of computers and a lot of cables tucked under the desks. We do not have any fancy lounge areas or ping pong tables like some of the big tech companies nearby. We just have our workstations and a small pantry where someone usually leaves a half-empty box of biscuits or some snacks. The light comes in through the big windows in the afternoon, which is nice, though it can get a bit warm during the summer months. Most of us take the bus or ride our bikes to get here. Lunch is usually something quick from one of the nearby stalls or a tiffin brought from home. It is a fast-paced area, but we try to keep things relaxed inside our office. We talk about the weekend or the latest news while we wait for files to upload. It is just a group of people trying to do their jobs well in a city that never seems to slow down. The hum of the air conditioner is the background music to our day.
