People Group (Makaan.Com)

We are located at 133 A, Ranka Colony, right on Bannerghatta Road in Bangalore. This is where we run People Group, specifically focusing on the Makaan.com side of things. If you know Bangalore, you know that Bannerghatta Road is always moving and there is a lot of energy around here. Ranka Colony is a good spot for us because it’s central enough to get around. Our office is a place where we handle real estate information. It’s mostly just us at our desks, talking to people and updating lists. It’s not a fancy setup with a reception desk and uniforms. We just wear what’s comfortable and get to work. The tea guy comes around in the afternoon, which is usually the highlight of the day. We’ve been here for a bit and we’ve seen the area change quite a lot. There’s always a new building going up somewhere. We try to stay on top of the work without making it too complicated. It’s a lot of data and phone calls, really. We don’t go in for all those big mission statements. We just want to make sure the information we have is right and that we are being helpful. It’s a busy life here in Bangalore, but we like the pace and the people we meet along the way at 133 A.
