Veracious Technologies

Peenya is a heavy place. You can hear the machines from the other sheds all day long. We are tucked away in the 2nd Stage on 1st Main, No. C-19. It’s mostly concrete and dust out here, but it’s where the work happens. Our office isn’t much to look at from the outside. Just a regular industrial building with some stains on the walls. Inside, it’s mostly computers and some old chairs we’ve had for years. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit around talking until the generator kicks in. The tea guy comes by at eleven and four, and that’s usually the highlight of the morning. We don’t have fancy rugs or a big sign. People find us because they know the address or someone told them where the gate is. It gets really hot in the summer because of the sheet roofs nearby. We just keep the fans going and get through the list of things to do. Most of us take the bus or ride bikes in, so the morning is always about who got stuck in traffic near the junction. It’s a plain way to spend the day, just doing the tasks and going home when the sun starts to go down. We’ve been at this spot for a while, so the neighbors in the other units are familiar faces. It is just Veracious Technologies doing its daily thing in the middle of the estate.
