Down here in Peenya Industrial Area, things move a bit differently. Our office is at 248 on the 8th Main, right at the 3rd Cross in the 3rd Phase. It’s a bit of a maze if you aren't familiar with the turns, but for us, it’s just home. Peenya has a certain grit to it that we actually like. There’s no pretending to be something we aren't when you’re surrounded by factories and workshops. The sound of machinery is the background noise to every conversation we have. Inside our building, it’s mostly about getting the logistics right. We have a small team, and we all know each other’s business. We drink a lot of tea from the guy at the corner who knows exactly how much sugar everyone takes. The desks are cluttered with samples and papers because we’re always in the middle of a project. We don’t have a fancy reception area with someone waiting to greet you; you usually just walk in and find whoever is available. It’s a busy life, and the 8th Main stays crowded from dawn till dusk. We focus on the details of what we’re making or fixing. It’s about being there for the long haul and staying on top of the daily schedule. We’ve been in this phase for a while now, and we’ve grown to appreciate the hard work that goes on in every building on this street.
