We are down on 5th Cross in the Peenya Industrial Estate, specifically in the 1st Stage. If you have ever been to Peenya, you know it’s a massive place with lots of factories and workshops everywhere. It can be quite loud with all the machinery running in the nearby buildings. We are right in the middle of all that. Our space is dedicated to micro systems, so it’s a lot of technical work and assembly. We have a team of people who have been with us for years, and they know the layout of the 5th cross like the back of their hand. The area is always buzzing with trucks and delivery vans coming and going. It’s not the most beautiful part of the city, but it’s where things get made. Our office and workshop are functional, with plenty of light and enough space for the equipment we use every day. We don't spend much time on fancy presentations or anything like that. Most of our day is spent making sure the systems are built correctly and checking everything twice before it goes out. Lunchtime is when everyone gathers around to eat and chat about non-work stuff for a bit. It's a hard-working atmosphere, and we are just one of the many businesses trying to do a good job in this industrial hub. It’s a very grounded way to spend the work week, surrounded by the hum of the estate.
