Peacock Enterprises

Peacock Enterprises is tucked away at 166 Chamrajpet on Dharavi Street. It’s a busy area, so finding a place to park can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We’ve been operating out of this same building for years. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with the daily work to worry about that. It’s just a small team here, mostly local guys who live nearby. We handle a lot of different things throughout the day. It’s not one of those offices where everyone wears a suit. Usually, it's just shirts and trousers, and maybe some grease on our hands depending on what arrived that morning. The street outside is always noisy with carts and people moving stuff, which is just the way Chamrajpet is. We keep our doors open most of the time to let the air in. Inside, there are stacks of papers and boxes everywhere. It might look a little unorganized to a stranger, but we know where everything is. We don't do much talking about ourselves; we just get on with the tasks. If you come by, you’ll probably find me at the desk in the back or out front checking on a shipment. We don't have a receptionist, so you just have to give a shout if nobody sees you come in. It’s a straightforward way of doing business without any unnecessary fuss or complicated rules.
