Patni Computers

Over here in Khairthabad, Patni Computers is just a regular spot where we deal with tech stuff every day. Hyderabad is a big city but this neighborhood feels like home to us. We’ve seen all sorts of computer problems over the years. Some people come in really worried because they lost their files, and we do what we can to help out. It is not always easy and sometimes we stay late just to finish one tricky repair. The office isn't anything special to look at. We have benches covered in tools and different screws that we try not to lose. We don’t have a marketing team or any of those polished brochures you see at the big mall stores. It is just us and our tools. We talk to people plainly about what’s wrong with their gear. If a laptop is too old to be worth the money for a repair, we tell them that straight up. There is no point in wasting someone’s time or money. The weather here can get really hot which isn't great for electronics, so we spend a lot of time telling folks to keep their fans clean. We enjoy the work though. It’s satisfying to see a machine start up again after it’s been dead for a week. We just keep our heads down and work on whatever is in front of us until it's time to head home for the night.
