Patni Computers has been around this part of Indira Nagar for quite a while now. We are tucked away at Hn 904C in the 1st Stage, specifically on 1st B Cross. It’s a busy area but we like the energy of Bangalore-38. Most of our day is spent dealing with tangled cables and trying to figure out why someone’s desktop won’t turn on. It is a bit cramped in here sometimes because of all the spare parts and monitors we have stacked up against the walls. We aren't trying to be some huge tech giant. We just handle the systems for people who live nearby or work in the local shops. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so loud we have to shout over it to hear each other, but you get used to that living here. We don't have a fancy lobby or anyone to greet you at the door. You usually just walk in and find one of us hunched over a keyboard or a soldering iron. We try to keep things simple and not use too many technical words that nobody understands. If your hard drive is making a weird clicking noise, we just take a look and see what can be done. It’s a lot of trial and error some days. We just keep at it until the job is finished and the customer can take their machine home. Anyway, that is what we do here most days of the week.
