We’ve got our office set up over in Billekhahalli, specifically on the 3rd floor of the building at 231 Thayappa Garden. If you’re familiar with the 5th Cross area near Bannerghatta Road, you probably know how the traffic can get around here during the morning rush. Pathway Careers is basically just a few of us who spend our days going through job applications and trying to match people with different companies. It’s not a fancy setup by any means. We have some desks, a couple of computers, and way too much paperwork piled up most of the time. Sometimes it gets a bit loud outside with the street noise, but we’re used to it by now. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting across from people who are just looking for a change in their work life. It’s a lot of talking and listening. The 3rd floor keeps us away from the immediate dust of the road which is nice. We don't have a big reception or anything like that. People just walk in and we see how we can help them out. It’s a straightforward way of working. Most of the people who come to see us are from around Bangalore, but we get folks from further out too. We try to keep things grounded and just do the work that needs doing every day. It’s just a normal office where we try to make sense of the job market for whoever walks through the door.
