We’ve been serving the local crowd here for quite some time now. The shop is filled with various items that people might need for their homes or for gifts. We don't specialize in just one thing; it’s more about having a little bit of everything. The 9th Main gets a lot of foot traffic, especially in the evenings when everyone is out doing their shopping. We try to keep the front of the store neat, but once you get further back, the shelves are just packed with stuff. It takes a while to learn where everything is. We have regular customers who have been coming to us for years. They usually come in for a chat as much as they do for shopping. We don't have a big staff, so sometimes if it’s busy, people have to wait a minute for us to help them. We don't mind, and usually, they don't either. It’s just the way it is in a local shop.
