Patel Farm

Our place, Patel Farm, is at 1, Srivatsa, on the HM World City Apartment Road in JP Nagar 9th Phase. It’s a bit further out than some other places, but it’s a growing area. We spend most of our time dealing with the produce and making sure everything is handled properly. It’s not a typical office. There’s a lot of movement, with crates being shifted and people checking on the quality of what we have. We started this because we wanted to work with our hands and be around fresh things. The road near the HM World City apartments gets a fair amount of traffic these days. We have a small team here. We don’t really use fancy equipment, just the basics to keep things running. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it’s too hot or raining hard, but we manage. We aren’t really trying to be a big corporate entity. We just like what we do. People from the nearby apartments often stop by or ask about what we have available. We keep our records in a simple ledger and try to stay on top of things. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, especially in the early mornings. We just take it one day at a time here at the farm. It’s a practical life, and we wouldn't have it any other way, even if it gets a bit tiring sometimes. We enjoy the quiet of the morning.
