You can find Passion Gift Gallery right at number 13, opposite Golus Chat in Kumara Park West. Having the chat shop right there is both good and bad because the food smells so good all the time. It’s a small place, but we’ve packed it with all kinds of things that might make a nice present. We spend our mornings mostly tidying up the displays and seeing what needs to be restocked. The street outside can get pretty lively, especially in the evenings when people come out for snacks. We get a lot of walk-in customers who were just passing by and decided to take a look. It’s a cozy spot, and we like it that way. We don't have any fancy displays or lights, just simple shelves and some honest work. Sometimes it’s just one of us here, and other times a few of us are helping out. We like talking to the regulars who live around Kumara Park. They often stop in just to say hello or see if anything new has arrived. It isn't a high-pressure environment. We just want people to feel comfortable while they browse. Some days are quieter than others, which gives us time to organize the back room or catch up on some bookkeeping. It’s a humble little shop, and we’re happy to be part of the neighborhood. We just do our best to keep things simple and keep the shop open for whoever needs a quick gift.
