Passion & Pleasure

Our little shop, Passion & Pleasure, is located at 49 on the 4th Cross in Govindappa Layout. This is right in the Jaraganahalli area of JP Nagar. It is not a very big place, just a simple storefront where we keep our stock on the shelves. We have been here for a while, and the neighbors mostly know us by face. The shop can feel a bit crowded when more than three people are inside at once because the layout is quite narrow. We spend our mornings opening up the shutters, sweeping the floor, and dusting off the items on display. We don't have a big marketing budget or any fancy advertisements. Most of our customers are just people from the neighborhood or folks who happened to be passing through on their way to the main road. The ceiling fan hums all day, and sometimes the light flickers if the power is acting up, but we just ignore it and keep going. We sit behind the small wooden counter and wait for people to come in. We don't try to be anything we aren't; it’s just a small local business trying to make a living. We keep a handwritten ledger for our accounts and try to be helpful if someone has a question about what we sell. It is a quiet life, and we are happy just to keep the doors open and see the regular faces that stop by to chat or buy something.
