Parvathi Poly Clinic

Parvathi Poly Clinic is located at number 36 on the 1st Main Road in Kamakshipalya. We are quite close to the Amma Maheshwari Temple, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. Being a polyclinic means we see all kinds of things throughout the day. One minute it might be someone with a minor injury, and the next it’s a parent bringing in a child with a fever. The building is a regular storefront style, and inside we’ve got a couple of rooms for different needs. The waiting area is simple, just some rows of chairs and a desk where we keep the ledger and the patient cards. It can get quite lively in the evenings when the temple has a lot of visitors and the street gets crowded. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t; it’s just a straightforward medical spot for the local community. The staff are local people too, so they speak the language and understand the local way of doing things. We’ve got the basic diagnostic tools and a pharmacy nearby so people don’t have to go far. It’s a busy, functional place that stays open late enough for people coming home from work. We just keep things moving, seeing one person after another and trying to help out with whatever health trouble they’re dealing with on that day. It is a humble place, but we keep it going.
