Parsons Brinckerhoff India Pvt. Ltd

Parsons Brinckerhoff India has this office at Shivanjali, number 4, over in Saraswathipuram. It’s tucked away on 8th Cross and 1st G Cross Road in Bangalore. It is a quiet neighborhood mostly, which is nice because the city can get so noisy. We do a lot of planning and looking at blueprints in this building. The office has a few floors and we spend most of our time staring at screens or talking about construction stuff. It isn’t the kind of place with flashy signs or anything. Just a regular building where people come to work every morning at nine. Karnataka is growing fast and you can see it in all the projects we handle from this desk. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator. We have some tea in the afternoon and talk about the weekend. Bangalore traffic makes it hard for some of us to get here on time, but nobody complains much. We just do the engineering work that needs doing. The street outside is narrow, so parking is always a bit of a puzzle. We have some plants in the corner that someone remembers to water once in a while. It’s just a normal workplace with people trying to finish their tasks before the sun goes down and they head back home to J.S.Nagar.
