Parimal Mandir

Our address is No. 114 on 4th Main Road in Chamarajpet. It is just a few streets away from where a lot of other similar businesses are located. We have been at Parimal Mandir for a good number of years now. The building is an old one with those very high ceilings that help keep it a bit cooler in the summer. We have a lot of staff who have been here since they were very young. It is a lot of manual work for everyone, mostly rolling and packing. You can hear the sounds of the street all day long—the horns, the vendors shouting, and people walking by the door. We do not have a fancy entrance for visitors. There is just a big door that stays open most of the day. Inside, it is a bit of a maze with all the boxes and raw materials piled up. We try to keep it organized, but it is hard when so much stuff is coming and going every week. We sit on the floor sometimes to sort through the items. It is just more comfortable that way for us. We do not have a big board of directors or any corporate meetings. It is mostly a family-run operation. We have our tea together in the mornings before the real rush of the day starts. The lighting is not the best in the back rooms, but we know our way around. It is a honest day’s work for us every time.
