Paramount Pen Centre

Paramount Pen Centre is located at 120/3 on Bazaar Street, not too far from Everest Lodge in Yeshwantpur. We’ve been focusing on pens and writing stuff for a long time. It’s a niche business, I suppose, but everyone still needs a good pen now and then. The shop has a specific smell of ink and paper that you notice as soon as you walk in. We have all kinds of pens, from the cheap ones you use for grocery lists to some that are a bit more sturdy. Yeshwantpur is a busy area, especially with the market and the railway station nearby. We get a lot of students and office workers who stop by on their way to wherever they're going. The shop isn't very modern looking, but it has everything in its place. We spend our days filling ink, testing nibs, and showing people different types of stationery. It’s quiet work compared to the chaos on the main road. Sometimes someone comes in looking for a specific refill that’s hard to find, and we usually have it buried somewhere in a drawer. We don’t really bother with big sales pitches. If you need a pen, you come in, try a few out on a scrap of paper, and pick the one that feels right. That’s how we’ve always done things here. It’s a steady pace and we like it that way. No need for anything fancy.
