I am Parameswarappa M V and I run my business at 15 Vijaya Nagar on Odhav Road. I’ve been at this location for a good number of years. Vijaya Nagar is a busy place and Odhav Road always has people moving about. My shop is simple and practical. I don't have a lot of decorations or fancy furniture. I just have the tools and space I need to do my job. I usually get here early in the morning to beat the heat and the crowds. It’s mostly just me working here, though I sometimes have a helper when the workload gets heavy. I like being my own boss because I can decide how things should be done without asking anyone else. It’s a lot of responsibility but I don't mind it. I’ve lived in this city my whole life and I’ve seen it grow so much. My little corner of Vijaya Nagar hasn't changed that much, which I find comforting. I deal with all kinds of people every day. Some are in a hurry and some want to stay and talk. I try to treat everyone fairly and just do what I promised to do. I don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. I just rely on doing a decent job so people come back or tell their neighbors. It’s a straightforward way to live and work. I’ll probably be here at number 15 for a long time yet.
