Pantaloons

Down here in Podanur, specifically on Chettipalyam Road, things move a bit slower than in the city center. Our place is tucked away in Arulmurgan Nagar, at 11/82C-2C Gwendale. It’s a bit of a mouthful of an address, but once you find the 1st street, we’re right there. We’ve been handling things for Pantaloons from this spot for a while. It’s not a big shiny storefront with mannequins in the window; it’s more of a hub for us. We deal with a lot of stock and paperwork every day. Coimbatore weather can be pretty humid, so we keep the fans going all day long. The office is simple—just some sturdy tables, chairs, and a lot of boxes. We don’t really have a grand story about why we’re here. It was just a good spot that worked for us. We know the local shopkeepers and the people who walk their dogs past our gate every evening. It feels like we’re part of the neighborhood. Sometimes the deliveries arrive all at once and the driveway gets a bit blocked, but we sort it out quickly. We aren’t big on corporate talk. We just focus on getting the clothes where they need to go and making sure the records are right. It’s a lot of routine, but we don’t mind the steady pace of it all. We stay until the last truck is gone usually. That is how we work here.
