If you are looking for us, we are over in Gandhi Nagar at Ag-3, inside the Brigade Majestic Building. It is right near the Airtel office, which is a good landmark because the building itself can be a bit confusing if you haven't been here before. We spend our days at Panickers Travel mostly on the phones or looking at computer screens trying to sort out bus timings and train schedules. It can get pretty chaotic during the holiday seasons when everyone wants to go somewhere at the same time. The office is often full of travel brochures and maps that we’ve had for years. We handle a lot of bookings for people who prefer talking to a person rather than trying to do everything on a website. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to tell people to wait a bit, but they are usually okay with it. We have a few old desks and some chairs that have seen better days, but they serve their purpose. It is a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering calls to handling the cash box. We don't have a fancy waiting lounge, just a few plastic chairs by the door. Most of our regulars are people from the neighborhood who have been booking with us for a long time. It is just a regular travel desk doing what we can to help people get where they need to go.
