Padmavathi N Advocate

I’m Padmavathi N, and my advocate office is over at 12 Cubbonpet Main Road. We’re on the 5th Main, 2nd stage area on the 3rd Floor, 10th Cross. It’s right across from St Marthas Hospital, so there’s always a lot of activity and ambulances nearby. The office is full of files and law books that have been piling up over the years. I spend most of my time reading through papers or heading out to the courts nearby. It’s a lot of walking and waiting in hallways for cases to be called. People come in with all sorts of problems, usually looking for help with some kind of legal document or a property dispute they’re having. I don’t have a huge staff, just a couple of people to help with the filing and the typing of letters. The elevator in the building works most of the time, but sometimes we just take the stairs to the 3rd floor when we are in a hurry. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of small shops and a lot of traffic. My desk is usually covered in folders and half-empty tea cups. We just take things one case at a time and try to keep everything in order. It’s hard work and the hours can be quite long, especially when there’s a deadline for a filing. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and people around Cubbonpet know where to find us.
