Padmashree Computers

We are up on the second floor of a building in Kumaraswamy Layout 2nd Stage. The exact spot is 2806 on 7th Main Road in Bangalore. It is a busy stretch of road, so there is always the sound of traffic coming up through the windows. Being on the second floor means we have to carry boxes and equipment up and down the stairs quite a bit, which keeps us busy. The office is full of computer parts, monitors, and various cables tangling around the corners. It is a typical workspace where we spend most of the day looking at screens or taking machines apart to see what is wrong with them. We have been in this part of Bangalore for a while now. The space is not very large, so we have to be careful about where we put things so we don't trip. There is usually a pile of stuff waiting to be looked at near the back wall. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees; it is just a small team of us working here. We have our coffee in the morning, open the shop, and wait for the first customers to arrive. Sometimes it stays quiet for hours, and other times everyone seems to come in at once. It is just how things go here. We work hard, pack up, and head home in the traffic like everyone else in the city. It’s a bit cramped but it is our place.
