Deepak Industries

We've been at this spot on 4th Cross in Padarayanapura for quite a while now. If you know Mysore Road, you know how busy it gets around here. It’s just how things are. We started Deepak Industries because there was work to be done and we had the tools to do it. It’s a modest setup, nothing fancy. Most days it’s just the sound of machines and people getting things sorted. We don't spend much time on office decor or anything like that. The floor is usually covered in bits of metal or dust from whatever job we’re finishing up. Sometimes the power goes out or the traffic makes deliveries a headache, but we manage. People stop by, ask if we can fix something or make a part, and we say yes or no based on what’s actually possible. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Bangalore. We just want to get through the day's list and make sure the stuff we send out works right. There’s a tea stall nearby where we take breaks when it gets too hot. It's a simple life here. We’ve known the neighbors for years. Sometimes it’s loud, sometimes it’s messy, but it’s our space. We handle the paperwork when we have to, but mostly we’re just focused on the physical work in front of us. No big speeches here, just a lot of grease and some hard work.
