The walls have a few old calendars and some maps that have been there forever. We handle a bit of everything, from quick taxi trips to longer holiday plans, though most of the day is just routine paperwork and making sure bookings are confirmed. Anand Nagar is a nice, quiet part of Mohali, so it’s usually easy to find us. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who have been doing this for a long time. We know the routes and the best times to travel, and we just share that with whoever asks. Sometimes the printer jams or the internet goes slow right when we’re in the middle of a booking, but we’ve learned to be patient. It’s an honest way to make a living, helping people get from one place to another without too much trouble. We just stay busy with the daily flow of travelers and try to keep the schedules straight so nobody gets stuck. We keep a stack of old magazines on the table for people to look at while they wait, and the tea guy comes by twice a day. It’s not a high-speed environment, just a steady one.
