Our office is way up on the 10th floor of the Barton Centre, right on Mahathma Gandhi Road. Being at 1008 means we get a pretty good view of the traffic down below on MG Road, which is ironic since we spend our days thinking about how to get those people to look at signs. It’s a busy building. We deal with a lot of outdoor stuff like hoardings and banners. Most of our work happens outside the office, though. We’re often out checking sites or seeing if a sign was put up correctly. The office is where we do the planning and talk to the printers. It’s got a lot of samples lying around—bits of vinyl and metal frames. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped with all the materials. We’ve been in Barton Centre for quite a while, so we know the lift operators and the other folks on our floor. It’s a bit of a walk from the parking, but that’s just how MG Road is. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you come by, you’ll probably see us arguing over a design or on the phone with a crew at a site. It’s a lot of coordination and hoping the weather stays clear so the guys can climb the ladders. We just keep at it, one billboard at a time.
