Origami Creative Concept

Origami Creative Concept is based out of 3300, 5th Cross in Gayathrinagar. Bangalore has changed so much lately, but this little pocket near the 5th Cross feels a bit more like the old city. We are up in the 560 021 zip code area. Our office is basically a bunch of tables pushed together where we try to come up with ideas. Sometimes the ideas come quickly and sometimes we just stare at the wall for an hour. The name Origami sounded good when we picked it, though we don't actually do much paper folding here. It’s more about the way things fit together. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is nice when you’re trying to think. You can hear the bells from the temple nearby sometimes. We spend a lot of time on our computers, but we try to take breaks and walk down the street to stretch our legs. There’s a small shop nearby that sells decent coffee, which is a lifesaver. Our space is a bit cluttered with samples and sketches, but we know where everything is. Most of the time, the traffic in Bangalore makes it hard for people to visit, so we do a lot of our talking over the phone or email. We’ve been in Gayathrinagar for a while now and the locals know us. It’s a decent place to spend the day, even if the commute is a bit of a grind. We just keep at it.
