We’ve been here at 12, Srigandhada for a while now. Most people around Kavlusunkadakkate know the spot. It isn't a huge flashy office or anything like that. Just a regular place where we get our work done. Orb Energy India Pvt. Ltd. started because there was a need for solar stuff in the area. We spend most of our days looking at panels and talking to people about how to get them set up on their roofs. Sometimes it’s a bit messy with all the wires and parts lying around the shop floor, but that’s just how it goes when you’re actually building things. Our team is pretty small. We have a few guys who are good with the technical side and a couple of us who handle the paperwork and the phones. If you walk in, you’ll probably see us drinking tea or arguing about a specific installation. It’s not fancy. We just try to make sure the lights stay on and the systems work like they are supposed to. Some days are busier than others, especially when the weather is good for installs. We don't really do the big corporate speeches. We just show up at the address in Srigandhada and do what needs doing. It’s been an interesting journey figuring out the solar business in this part of India. We’ve learned a lot by just making mistakes and fixing them as we go along. That's pretty much who we are.
