Orange County Hotels $ Resort has an office here at 31, Sharon Nest in Adugodi, Bangalore-30. It’s not the actual resort, just the place where we handle the business side of things. Sharon Nest is a regular building in a busy area. Adugodi is always full of movement. We’ve been at this address for a good while. The office is small. We have some pictures of the resorts on the walls, but other than that, it’s just a standard workspace. We have a few files, some old computers, and a lot of phone lines. We spend our time talking to people about their bookings or sorting out the logistics for the hotels. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. We don’t have a big PR team writing fancy stuff for us. We just tell people what’s available and what the dates look like. The street outside Sharon Nest can be quite loud with the traffic from the main road. Sometimes it’s hard to hear on the phone but we manage to get by. It’s just part of being in Bangalore. We don’t use words like excellence or world-class in our daily talk. We just try to get the bookings right and make sure everything is ready for the guests at the actual resorts. It’s a practical job. We work hard and then we go home to our families. It’s a simple life here in Adugodi at number 31 and we like it that way.
