One & Only Reethi Rah, Maldives

We handle everything through our email most of the time. Working with the One & Only Reethi Rah name in the Maldives is something we’ve been doing for a while now. It’s a lot of organizing and keeping track of messages that come in at all hours. Most of our day is spent looking at the screen and making sure things are lined up right. People ask us questions and we try to get back to them when we can. It’s not always fast because there is a lot to do, but we get there eventually. We aren't some big office building with a physical sign out front that you can just walk into. Mostly we are just a point of contact for folks. The sun is usually out and the water is nice outside, but we are often busy with the back-end stuff that people don't really see. It's a lot of coordination. We use that Gmail address for most of our stuff so things don't get lost in the shuffle. It's simpler that way for everyone involved. Sometimes we miss a message if things get really hectic, but we try to keep on top of the inbox. It's just us over here making sure the bookings and the details are handled. We don't have a fancy reception area. Just a desk and a laptop is all we really need to keep this going. It's a quiet way to work but it keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
