Electronic City is always busy but we are tucked away in Phase 2, specifically the Shantipura area. Our office is at House Number 5 on the 6th Cross in Naidu Layout. It can be a bit of a maze to get here if you aren’t used to the layout of the streets. The roads are narrow and there is always someone moving something or a delivery bike passing by. We have been here in Bangalore for a while now as Omn-Tech Solutions Private Limited. The building is just a regular house that was converted into a work space. It feels more like a home than those big glass offices you see on the main road. We have a few rooms set up with our computers. The internet is mostly reliable, which is lucky because we need it for everything we do. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside in the lane. It can get a bit loud during the afternoons when they are off school. We handle tech solutions, mostly software stuff and fixing things that break. It is a small team here and we know each other well. There is a small tea stall near the end of the cross where we usually go around four o’clock. The Naidu Layout area is quite residential, so it stays pretty quiet at night. We don’t have a big sign outside, just the house number on the gate. It is a practical place to be. We don’t spend money on fancy decor or art. Most of our desks are mismatched but they work fine. Electronic City Phase 2 can be a trek for some, but we have made our home here.
